There are people who hold the belief that what happens in a relationship is strictly between the people involved (although "outsiders" have the right to have their opinions). Irregardless of whether there is contractual stipulations regarding the discussing of cast members personal lives or what goes on BTS (behind the scenes) on set, there are people who have the discretion or loyalty to not "air dirty linen" in public no matter what the case. Only the individuals directly involved bear the responsibility of what happened and must bear the consequences both pro and con for the "fallout". Sadly, most of us in today's society have or will have to face the "breakup" aspects" of significant relationships of people we care about and in most cases would appreciate not being put in the middle or having to publicly voice their views of support or condemnation of one side or the other; this can be more constructively done privately. So reported public statements should be taken with a grain of salt; unless you personally hear someone making them ( in this case being a "doubting Thomas" is a good thing).
RP is scheduled for an appearance on "the Daily Show".
TL will be staying low (where public appearances are concerned) for awhile longer but he has commitments to honor. To occupy myself, I've taken in several of the Olympic events....entertainment wise - the dive team from Great Britain led by Tom Daley have been immensely entertaining (this I say even though I'm from the Buckeye State). If you get a chance they filmed a dance routine to LMFAO's "I'm Sexy & I Know It" (YouTube); they are and they definitely know it.

It's funny how all the others in that top photo pale in comparison and fade away next to Taylor. *sigh* He really is beautiful, and has such charisma.

Some meandering thoughts:

Can you believe:
1) some people care more about what people they know think about them than what strangers do
2) people do things to promote their profession or business to make it more successful
3) people close to individuals (like parents, siblings, friends, co-workers) involved in controversial or sensational events make themselves unavailable in order to not get the backsplash or to avoid being badgered for comment.
4) that when it becomes obvious that it's time to move on and in order to do so "old ties" must be severed with those who utterly refuse to "let go" - so some seemingly drastic measures must be taken even though on the surface they appear heartless and cruel
5) that social media is a two edged sword - a positive instant on ability to communicate, to discuss, to question, to voice opinions; but negatively it also can be a hammer to bludgeon, threaten and anonymously spread distortion, innuendo and lies by misguided or malicious individuals-simply because "they can"
6) that no one knows exactly what circumstances are between people unless you are personally informed "by them" or are present (this includes your parents, family members, neighbors, classmates, co-workers, celebs).
7) that everyone has the ability to "act" to convey feelings or a picture they want to project rather than the reality of a situation (assuring a child during a tornado, reassuring a severly injured person, reassuring a parent or other that you are "just fine", posing at the family get together with a spouse while behind the scenes divorce proceedings are moving forward, having friends assist you in staging an event/or because in the long run you will all profit by it) and admittedly professional "actors" can do it even better.
8) that no matter what, life goes on and that until all facts are available (something you may never find out about) to not allow situations beyond your control effect your well being, especially if it concerns someone or something that isn't a viable presence in your own personal life
Just my thoughts for the day......

When you know a "firestorm" is approaching, it's reasonable to believe that you won't sit on your hands waiting for it to consume you. You make plans so when it's imminent you can take yourself and anyone/anything you care about and head away from it. Afterwards, you scrape together what's left and start to rebuild with the hope that the remaining burning embers will burn themselves out or at least move away from you scoping out another target. Survival is the goal and where there's breath there's life and an opportunity to add another chapter to your story.

Rainy day musings: In significant relationships, both romantic and "bff" - it always helps to share similar likes, dislikes, values, morals; but also important to stand up for yourself when it's evident that you're being misled. Try to work it out, of course, but that only works if both individuals want to...one person cannot do it by themselves...won't work. The old saying, "once burned, shame on you; twice burned, shame on me". TL wasn't going to let that happen again; he pretty much see's the writing on the wall....knows when your flogging a dead horse, so to speak. No matter, it does leave a bitter taste in your mouth and gives you another thing you need to cope with. Relationships between celebs more often than not don't have happy endings. By the way, Lily and Jamie met prior to the Abduction premiere & BD1 (that London premier photo of the "cast" is priceless). Jamie tested with Lily for "the mortal instruments" movie City of Bones. I think with the movie industry missing the mark more than hitting it, the small screen is looking better & better to establish your credentials. Just my view, no one elses.

Time for Taylor to emerge....time to be seen (ex: Craig's Restaurant, a well known celeb haunt in Hollywood (the one on Melrose); more sightings sure to come.
